National Ecological Footprint and Biocapacity Accounts contain national and world-total data since 1961 about: ecological footprint of production, ecological footprint of consumption, ecological footprint embodied in trade, biocapacity, and components of biocapacity and ecological footprint.

- National and world-total data in an Excel workbook, with release notes, available through York University’s Ecological Footprint Initiative which produces the accounts for FODAFO. Commodity-specific microdata is also available upon request.
- Interactive data visualizations (map, time series, component breakdowns, supplementary socioeconomic data) for educational use through Global Footprint Network’s Footprint Data Explorer. This platform may take up to two months to update after official edition launch.
